You handle it as an array because php is not a typed lang, there for reading from flex isn't always pretty, and this is the way I have been doing it for awhile, I guess it just works.

Hi Jonnie
I have a question about this tutorial.
Why do you handle the object received by php from amfphp as an array?
Isn't it supposed to be an object and to be handled as such?
I'm sure I'm missing a piece here.

Please help me, as I have been banging my head aginst the wall for several days now.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for this, Jonnie. I have a couple of questions:

1- What license is this project licensed under
2- Do you have the server-side PHP service "FlexPressAMF" anywhere available for download?

Thanks!

Hi,

I have a problem with "XMLRPCObject" object. In fact, my two callbacks (result and fault) are called 2 times at each call of XMLRPC method ...

var rpcxmlObj:XMLRPCObject = new XMLRPCObject();

// destination and endpoint are well set

rpcxmlObj.addEventListener(FaultEvent.FAULT, handleError); rpcxmlObj.addEventListener(ResultEvent.RESULT, handleOk);

rpcxmlObj.call("CheckIdentification", profilType, profilPassword);

Thank you very much for your precious help

regards

I am learning Flex and connection to SQLite.

In your reply to Smith, what is UserVO ?

I cannot see it referenced anywhere in your DB management class.

Also how do I reference the .as class file in my .mxml file ?

yo, here is a simple way to do both via flex and php.
<pre class="brush: php;">
//upload php script - name this test_file_upload.php

//download script - name this test_file_download.php

//now the flex; use onUpload() and onDownload() functions

 import flash.events.IOErrorEvent;
 import flash.net.navigateToURL;

 private var fileRef:FileReference;
 private function onUpload():void {

This looks really intriguing. I know a lot about Textpattern but very little about Flex. Would this be like a Textpattern desktop "client". Something easy enough for not-super-tech savvy users to manage their TXP content? If you need testers for this, let me know. Keep up the great work!
