This looks really intriguing. I know a lot about Textpattern but very little about Flex. Would this be like a Textpattern desktop “client”. Something easy enough for not-super-tech savvy users to manage their TXP content? If you need testers for this, let me know. Keep up the great work!

I haven’t done much work on it since I ran into a problem with how it should complete be structured. Im going to make a post on my thoughts, check it out. Also I have been messing around with my CodeGen, and I can create a Flex interface for textpattern in seconds. Lets chat.

It occurred to me that Textpattern and Adobe Air could be integrated. Then it occurred to me that someone out in the world might have thought the same thing and it turns out actually did it. I’d love to get my hands on a copy. How is it coming along?

What I really like about the desktop concept is the strategic advantage of having an offline publishing admin panel.

My feature request would be to have an offline editorial workflow and publishing articles live after confirmation of an editor.

A 2nd feature set which comes to my mind is an extended publishing platform. An integrated RSS feed reader and an integrated XMPP/Jabber client would make it easy to republish items through your desktop solution.
